Gallagher Bassett - File a complaint to oversight agency???
Does anyone know which government agency monitors Gallagher Basset? I would like to file an official complaint about their business practices, specific payment methods.
The bank customers have the power of the CFPB to make complaints.... which agency provides government oversight to the Workers Comp insurance industry?
GB sends payment out via the US Postal service and for the last 3 months the payments have been 5 days late.... which makes paying regular bills impossible. I would like to push them into direct deposit.
Has anyone had the same issues?
Reason of review: Business practices are from the 1800's.
Preferred solution: Provide direct deposit services.

I think it's called department of Insurance DOI. This scares me I just started dealing with GB,
Go to www.dir.ca.gov/DWC, and complete the DWC AU-906 and file it with he DWC Audit Unit in Sacramento, or contact your local Information and Assistance Officer at 800-736-****.
Keep in mind that GB has no control over the mail service.
Make sure they are the ones making the mistake before you file a complaint. If they are paying you late write them for a request for penalty and send it to them with a proof of service.
They are required to pay you a 10% penalty every time a payment is late. Bid you can show a pattern or behavior, file a petition for penalties against the entire class of benefits
Yes! I have had the same issue with them.
I get my checks on time for a couple of weeks then I got two to three weeks without one and everytime I try to call about it they say its been mailed.
Then I will get one or two in a row then have to wait again for two weeks. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with
Yes, did you have any luck finding what agencies govern this terrible company? We should share our thoughts on how to get this pushed to a higher level.
It appears GB is very negligent and it seems the people are powerless. However, when we work together perhaps we can find a way to elevate the awareness of such a terrible company like GB
I would really love to know too. They have cost me 2 vechicles now and out of nowhere stopped my payments which were never regular, rite before Christmas.
