My husband has been dealing with them for 6 yrs our date of injury was 06/2014 and our examiner has been changed twice since we've been dealing with them. Our new examiner is now a real winner and she has since demanded him to do job searches for 5 years and for the first 3 yrs we did them as requested and we still didnt get his payments reinstated ( side note he was getting payments but she stopped them cuz he needed to look/ obtain a job). We finally got a pay in 2017 and then we continued them up until now when they cut us off 05/2019 and this stems from weeks of agents watching my house and digging around on the internet where they found my husbands facebook page that stated omg he works for uber ( side note he applied and part of the application was to put on social media that you work for them ) so keep in mind he did this bk in 2018 but never offically started working for them because number 1 new york state requires you to have a commerical insurance policy and 2 geico doesnt cover that kind of stuff. So with that being said we never did anything with it and he forgot it was on his facebook so our idiot lawyers called us about that while they were at court and we were under the impression that they were calling his cell phone they ended up calling our home phone and as an end result they stopped payments cuz the insurance company was convinced he was commiting fraud and our lawyer was too stupid to say we need another hearing to going over all this or give me a few minutes to speak to my client about this and try to call us again and figure this whole mess out. As an end result not only did the insurance company screw us but our lawyer did too so now we have no money coming in for 6 weeks and we have surgery coming up and since i'm applying for the paid family medical leave act i'm not enitrely sure when my payments will start. No payment for treatment and no answer to calls or messages

I have been unfortunate enough to be dealing with GB for 3 years. I’m that time I have had over 6 different case managers. Recently they have cocked up payments for treatment I have paid for upfront ( no providers want to do bulk bill because they don’t pay them either). I have spoken to case managers, accounts and tried to contact customer service to no avail. Now then don’t even answer the switchboard. I’ve tried at 8.30, 9, 9.30, 12.15 and 2.15 Sorry we are busy or we are closed please leave message and no one will bother to call you back. Then it cuts me off. How is this allowed to happen?

I get better results negotiating with a 2 year old

I was injured back in December of 2018 and for a month things seemed ok. The nightmare began when physical therapy recommended by a doctor took weeks to approve. Then when that wasn't working, it took weeks to send me to an orthopedic doctor. Then I received a packet to work at a temp place without having an actual diagnosis. Now, as of May, I haven't received a single payment from them (over a month). My lawyer even got the run around from them! They just need to stop. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever heard of.

Workcover claim accepted again two and half months ago and haven’t received a cent yet. Constantly ringing and emailing them. I get the paperwork they request for reimbursement, then they say they require paperwork from different person I have been sending in receipts and reimbursement form for months as they requested at the beginning only to receive in the mail the same forms and request informed that reimbursement starts from my surgery date in a weeks time. They keep moving the goalposts so you never get paid! Stress levels increasing with every email. Normal companies could not work like this as no customer would put up with the service they provide

I would have definitely joined the class action if I didn't retain private counsel. The attorneys are the only ones to get paid in a class action.

I would personally like to thank Gallagher Bassett (especially Francesca Bolling) for being the most unethical and non-professional organization still in business. The uncaring attitude displayed by this company is the reason I sued them. If they would have acted in good faith from the beginning and not acted like everyone is a liar and out to get them. It would have saved them a whole bunch of money.

It is me who gets the last laugh...….to the tune of over 160k!!!!! My check came today. When it was all said and done, it cost Gallagher and Bassett over 250k for a claim that should have cost them around 50k. I wouldn't have sued if I got the proper care from the beginning.

I wish Gallagher Bassett was a public corporation because I would be writing the shareholders instead of Pissed Consumer.

The attorneys' name was Tom Bacon and the office is located in Beaufort, S.C. You can google his name and go from there.

If the claim wasn't filed in S.C.

he may not be able to help you but he may be able to refer an attorney in your state. Best of luck and don't give up your fight!!

I sustained 7 injuries May 2018 I had one surgery and only occupational therapy over 14 plus months i have been injured and still not receiving my rightful indemnity biweekly payments, because they have been terminated for the 4 times in 14 months with the letter dated March 1st 2019 that my payments will continue until i return to work (no happening because my former employer terminated me) or my injuries become permanent or stationary, that isn't happening with 4 other major injuries that GB yet to accept under my current workers compensation claim they are handle for self insured company CR England Transportation Inc out of Southern California.

We had a shop fire caused by an arsonist,we mostly had water damage,but they dragged it out for 18 months ,then tried to short us on our legitimate claim. They are trained to be incompetent,not return e mails or calls,try to confuse you, to there advantage. Actually the worst insurance company i have ever dealt with,also they put the whole burden on you ,so you do all there work for them. Then they make glaring errors on simple math to further short you on your claim.

On 12/22/2018, @ 11:14am, The protruding base of your clothing rack which obstructed the pathway, caused me to suffer an egregiously, excruciating injury:Incident #:2018-2****. I visited the ER and followed-up on orders. The next week your regional manager , Vanessa @850+842-****, called me and extended her services to me at anytime and then asked what I wanted to make me whole. I could answer that , I was still experiencing PTSD from the injuries. I retained an attorney to answer for me. I was then given the go ahead to continue whatever it took to make me whole. That attorney set up a conference call C Sullivan. Then, the unthinkable occurred. That attorney called on 3/11/19, to inform me that the adjuster changed her mind, the claim was not accepted. I couldn’t accept this and pressed both you and that attorney for answers. I received a letter from the two aforementioned “partners” without a date in the heading. Yours was postmarked 3/15/19, and the other,, 3/14/19. That attorney is declining to represent me because there would be little monetary reward; however, your letter states that you the deny the claim because the onus is mine and you accept no responsibility. Thus , again, two very conflicting , collusive duplicitous events occurring concomitantly. I asked your company for additional information so that I can get this debacle sorted out and I have yet to receive it. I had to discontinue much needed therapy because upon therapists suggestions, my job prohibited recovery, so I left my job. How can I pay my portion of doctor’s and therapy bills when I have no money? Horrifying. My Medicare cancelled because of their Bad audit

This co. Contracted with Medicare to audit all files & recoup funds for Medicare .

I used to do similar work . They target people on Medicare who had accidents. In my case 12/27/12 fall at Hot topics . sawgrass mall.

I was hospitalized w concussion . I hired Dell & *** atty they kept case 2 hrs and dropped it . No settlement at all + Statute of limitations up . Evidently this co found insurer for HOT Topics was Chubb.

So in their report to Medicare Bassett. Identified CHUBB AS my primary Ins ( they were Hot Topics Ins ) so I get a letter that I owe Medicare over $177000. Every claim since 12/27 12. This is fraudulent information.

As a result today I was informed by My Dr that I no longer have insurance of any kind and they refused to administer my infusion . My weekly labs also denied. Without this care I’m a dead woman !! I am going to sue them for sloppy auditing and because although my lawyer explained the issue to Medicare they refuse to accept the truth and totally cancelled my insurance .

I’m going to contact my politicians in DC. The news media and get the word out to all seniors

I was sent a form 36 saying that your compensation payments are going to be reduced or discontinued because I did not return to work when the doctor told me to and the date was 1 9 2019 and I did return to work that day I have to leave two days later because of painting swelling the contact person was Kasey salvas. Fireproof that she falsified documents by not checking into that I went back to work this is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life

Gallagher/Bassett represents UPS. A UPS Semi-Truck backed directly into my shop destroying 8 months of work and throwing a steel table into my body. I have a photo of the UPS semi truck in my shop. And, video footage of the damage. Also a LA Police report. Receipts, bills, etc. Still trying to deny my claim HELP

This company is just awful and disgraceful. If terrorist ever target another place in America nobody would care if it was this company. Rude, unprofressional, and more importantly UNETHICAL. Medications unapproved by adjuster on a few occassions. Physical therapy setup with 2 companies that are out of business. Checks disbursed on a whatever whenever the *** they feel like it basis. Just disgraceful unAmerican.

I fell off a ladder while at work and GB didnt want to pay me more than 2 weeks even when the doctor they sent me to told me i needed surgery on my elbow and i should not work until the surgery was done. 1 year later after after hiring a lawyer they ok the surgery two surgeries on my arm and three on my neck the DR tells me im permanently disabled. Dr says if they ok the surgery last year you would be ok but being that they waited so long im disabled for life. They cut my pay off every other month and we have to drag them to court to make them pay me. They disregard the judges order over and over again. This company CEO and adjusters should be put in jail. They are pathetic human beings

Went tayla handled my case shed avoid me not even answr my elmais at all.then she palmed my case off to some rude cow who did noting was rude and threw my claim straight.they dont care about the damage caused to.you at all . Totally on the employer side right from the start. They only ever investergted the house places side of events.
